Andropause

Male menopause is know as andropause

Welcome! Indeed, it is a pleasure to share this information. I believe, the informed couples communicate much better.

Men are very much in the dark when it comes to their hormones. A majority of men are not familiar with the word andropause. We hear of hormones when it comes to abuse by athletes especially in major sports. Thus, men may have a reservation or a tendency not to believe that they need hormones. The truth is men and women lose 50% of their hormones by the time they reach the age of 50.

As a man ability to produce testosterone (androgen) declines...this phrase is called andropause. However, the estrogen level rises and your body start falling apart. In fact, usually a 55 y/o male will have a higher level of estradiol than a 55 y/o women. I am getting these laboratory values in daily. Another connection of declining testosterone is blood sugar problems.

While andropause has always hastened the aging process, it is becoming a health problem because of the increased levels of xenoestrogens and exotoxins in the environment. Stresses...career, family,  financial, other health challenges and our poor diets...SAD (Standard American Diet) caused the numerous problems.

Typically, if you asked a man about hormones (or rather the state of his energy, moods, and ability to function), he will state usually that everything is great or fine. Ask the same questions to his wife, friends or children and the story changes. You may hear the following description: over 45 year old plus males are on the decline: losing...his energy, enthusiasm for life and love, strength and sex drive. At home, family relations tend to become strained, and social life and activities dwindle and fade away. Sexual life has it own story: usually slowly becoming a disappointment at best and a disaster at worst due to loss of libido, loss of morning erections, depression, irritability, aching and stiff joints and intermittent failure to achieve an erection leading to performance anxiety. Now Viagra isn't the answer (wife's story with a frown). You see the ads on TV, magazines and Internet. Millions of dollars are being spent looking for a substitute for testosterone. We must be in a male crisis with all the ads on ED (Vigra, Cialis and on and on).

Perhaps you or your spouse recognize some or all of these symptoms. For although the spotlight has been on women's hormonal challenges, Mother Nature did not give men a free pass or more accurately a life supply of surplus hormones. Still, there is a solution...very safe, natural and easy to use format..."chips in the hip". Let your body cells' intelligent work for you. Twice a year for chips...is that too much.
